THE BEST YET!
The overwhelming feedback from this year’s Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience was that Saturday night was ‘the best yet’! Jimmy Barnes proved he’s still got the goods – rocking the Kununurra Community Amphitheatre to a sold-out crowd of over five thousand locals and visitors. Blue Shaddy earned their place on the bill, with their sweet mix of blues, rock and funk proving a crowd favourite and Peace Love brought the party home, packing the dance floor for the third successive year. It truly was an unforgettable party, proving yet again the people of the Kimberley know how to turn it on when it’s time to celebrate!

Master Harvey
In 2008 we welcome a new Master of Ceremonies to the Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience - country and western singer, Adam Harvey. A star of Channel 7’s hit TV show, It Takes Two, Adam received his seventh Golden Guitar award for his latest album, I’m Doin’ Alright on Australia Day this year. A former truckie and gold-miner, Harvey is no stranger to the East Kimberley. Last year he performed at the Muster’s Station Challenge Rodeo to a sell-out crowd. We look forward to seeing Adam and fellow performers - Jimmy Barnes, the Australian Army Band Darwin, Peace Love and All That Stuff, and many more at this year’s Kimberley Moon Experience.

Corporate Sell Out
The Kimberley’s night of nights, the Airnorth Kimberley Moon Experience continues to prove its popularity with tickets to the Kimberley Fine Diamonds Corporate Circle selling out two months ahead of the concert.
Organising Committee Chairman Murray Coates said the event was now firmly part of Western Australia’s social calendar.
“We’re very pleased that demand is so strong for what has become one of the state’s major corporate events. The concert is one-of-a-kind offering a spectacular setting on the banks of the Ord River, world class entertainment, sophisticated locally produced food, and a fantastic party atmosphere. We’re thrilled it’s such a winner with the corporate market.”
The 550 exclusive corporate tickets priced at $390 each sold out in just four weeks. Demand was so high organisers released additional tickets in a ballot system.
General admission tickets are also selling fast, with more than 2,500 concert-goers of all ages expected to enjoy the concert, picnic-style.

New Muster Event - Wild Walks
With its surrounding red cliffs glowing a burnished gold, dawn in and around Kununurra is an experience not to be missed. If you’re an avid photographer, nature lover or just an early-morning riser then the Muster’s newest event - Wild Walks is for you.
From 5.30am to 7.30am every Monday, Wednesday and Friday throughout the Muster you can join an experienced guide for a 3 – 5km walk to the hidden gems surrounding the town. There are occasional steep climbs and descents through rugged terrain, so these walks are not for the faint-hearted – however witnessing nature as it comes to life in the early morning make the effort worth the reward. Contact the Visitor Centre on 08 9168 1177 for more information.
