Sharing Our Stories

A partnership between the Shire of Wynhdam East Kimberley, MG Corporation and Gelganyem Trust, the award-winning Sharing Our Stories is a popular Muster highlight for locals and visitors.

Storytelling, as a traditional medium, has long been used to facilitate understanding and knowledge. Hear stories from local indigenous people as they recount their experiences growing up in the Ord Valley and explain the importance of the surrounding landscape and local community.

A scrumptious champagne brunch will be served as you enjoy the majestic scenery of the Ord River and Lake Kununurra.

This event will also be held on Sunday May 17.

Nexus Street Party

Dress up in your Aussie best and celebrate the artistic and creative talents of the East Kimberley community as you browse market stalls, discover local arts and crafts, enjoy Kimberley tucker and be entertained by a variety of dancers, singers, musicians and street performances, headlined by popular Perth band, Blue Shaddy.
