Make the most of the early morning and join experienced guide and local poet, Wendy Carter on a tour through the stunning Mirima National Park.
Located just two kilometres north of Kununurra, Mirima is an enchanted world of stunning rock formations, wildlife and Aboriginal art.
Each walk is between 3 and 5km in length with occassional steep climbs and descents through rugged terrain. So if you are of reasonable fitness and an early riser - why not discover Kununurra on foot. You will need boots or covered in footwear, water (carried in a backpack) and long trousers or gaiters. Your boots may get wet and muddy on some walks - but we promise, the effort will be worth the reward.

Accompanying the exhibition will be a traditional corroboree performance from the Miriwoong people at 6.15pm. Witness the traditional Aboriginal dreaming story told through the art of song and dance, while enjoying a tasty supper of beef and damper from the open fire.
