The following limits apply to the amount of alcohol each patron over 18 is permitted to bring into the venue:

FROM 3.00pm to 6pm

  • 12 cans of beer; OR 
  • 2 bottles of wine; OR 
  • 12 premixed cans; OR 
  • A combination thereof.

FROM 6.01pm to 8.30pm

  • 8 cans of beer; OR 
  • 1 bottle of wine; OR 
  • 8 premixed cans;  OR 
  • A combination thereof 

FROM 8.31pm

No alcohol is permitted to be brought into the venue. There will be NO PASSOUTS





Buses will depart from Hidden Valley Caravan Park, the Kununurra Visitors Centre and Lakeside Resort approximately every 15-20 minutes between 2:30pm - 5:45pm to take you to the Kimberley Moon Experience. Bus stops will be located en-route at Lakeside Phone Box, Hotel Kununurra, Hotel Ibis (at the big Boab) and Celebrity Tree Park.


Buses will be ready to depart from 9:30pm and will finish by approximately 1am returning via the same routes.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be a designated area for your eskies at Kununurra Country Club Resort and Lakeside Resort, please no drinking whilst waiting for buses or on buses, as huge fines apply. If you drive to the event and wish to catch the return buses, please put your eskies back in your car first.



A one-off bus will depart at 3.00pm from the following locations and travel directly to the venue:

  • Departing intersection of Valentine Falls and Victoria Highway with a pick up point at the corner of Packsaddle Road and Victoria Highway
  • Departing end of Riverfarm Road , via the co-op
  • Return Valentine Falls and Riverfarm Rd transfer departs at 10:30pm
