The Gibb Challenge is a 660 kilometre team relay cycling event tracing the iconic stock route of the Gibb River Road from the deep port town of Derby, through the vast savannah of the central Kimberley and onto the community celebrations of the east Kimberley and the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster.
Since our event’s inception in 2007 we’ve raised more than $6,000,000 for our charity partners including WA Police Legacy, Ryan Marron Foundation, Kyle Andrews Foundation, Sirens of Silence and the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
In 2019 we’ve again recognised the regional and personal relevance of the RFDS to people living, working or visiting Regional Western Australia, selecting them as our principal beneficiary with an ambitious fundraising target of $600,000 in support of their invaluable aero-medical services.
